Germination

Germination is a process of growth and development of embryo. Germination is the growth of an embryonic plant contained within a seed, it results in the formation of the seeding. Early germination begins with the end of dormancy. Dormancy suitable environmental conditions. The end of dormancy period was marked by the entry of water into the seed of a plant, which is called the imbibition process. Imbition occurs due to absorption of water due to low water potential in the dry seed. The most common example of fermination is the sprouting or a seeding from a seed of the green beans.

Green beans are one of the vegetables that come from nuts, mung bean vigna radiata has the latin name and belongs to the family fabaceae. The green beans have tremendous nutritional content. For green beans, we will find a lot of protein in it whose function is to assist the growth and formation of body cells. Planting green beans saked is not difficult. Before planting in the ground, green beans soaked for an end to ap period of dormancy during one night. After soaking the green beans will be issued shoots, then planting the shoots in the ground, measring it’s growth to determine growth that occurs every day and give water every day. In the first day, the tall of bud still 0 cm. the third day, the tall of loud is 1 cm. then in sixth day, the tall of bud become 3 cm. in tenth day, the tall of plant change become 7 cm finally. During two wekks, the tall of the plant change 10 cm. many factor that affect the growth, there are external factor and internal factors. External factors are water, oxygen, sunlight, and temperature, and internal factors that hormones and genes. From my ecperiments in fact green beans can grow taller than my planting. It is because I am not watering it fairly well and get less sunlight because often I put it in the classroom. Water and sunlight greatly affect plant growth because if plants receive less sunlight and water will slow growth and can lead to death. So, we must give water every day and put the plant in a place there are sunlight.
